ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I've been in your shoes.
Where I’ve done this
The fruits of my labor.
Off the clock
I live in Portland, Oregon, where I spend a lot of time trail running in Forest Park, tending to an increasingly ambitious garden, and cooking whatever happens to be growing in it. I’m also incapable of choosing a reasonable craft project. I knit wildly ambitious things. I cross-stitch feminist icons. I’m an avid reader and always have a stack of books waiting for me. And I love traveling, especially somewhere I can eat, explore, and wander around without much of a plan.
There’s probably a connection between all of this and product marketing: I’m relentlessly curious and enjoy creating things.
The name
Why “Periwinkle”?
As an avid gardener, I named Periwinkle Agency after a hardy groundcover that thrives in challenging environments. When it hits a wall, it sends out runners that find fertile new ground to take root and start growing again.
That's how I think about software growth. When you hit a wall, the way forward is to find new ground in a new market, new story, or new way for buyers to see you.
And yes, periwinkle is also my favorite color which is apparent by my hair color.
